Class Information

Classes are taught as a course exploring a theme taken from yogic philosophy. All classes will include; breathing practices, asana (yoga postures), mantra, relaxation techniques and guided meditation. Hands on adjustments and props will be offered throughout the practice. You will need a notebook, yoga mat, blanket, strap, block and brick for each class. You may borrow props to begin with (please call Nicky to arrange). Please arrive 10 minutes early to class to settle onto your mat before the class starts.

Monday 10.15 - 11.45am - Rutland Showground (Showground Way, Barleythorpe, Oakham, LE15 6US) Beginners level class, suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced students. This beautiful venue has underfloor heating and lots of parking spaces.

Tuesday 10.00 - 11.30am Stamford Arts Centre Ballroom (27 St Mary's Street, Stamford, PE9 2DL) Beginners level class. This class is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced students. Held in the ballroom at the arts centre. A central locations for those living in town. Please click on link below for Tuesday's booking form.

Wednesday 7.45 - 9.15pm Stamford Arts Centre - Intermediate level class. Suitable for those students who have some experience. Please be aware that the poses may be held for longer and opportunities to advance the asana may be offered. You are as usual encouraged only to work within your own limitations so it is possible to attend this class as a beginner.

Wednesday 10.45 - 12.15 Lyddington Village Hall. Intermediate level class. Suitable for those students who have some experience. Please be aware that the poses may be held for longer and opportunities to advance asana may be offered.

Thursday 9.45 - 11.00 from 13th Sept - A new course! Foundations in yoga. A course designed to give you a foundation in hatha yoga. Suitable for complete beginners as well as students coming back from a break, or those wanting to work on technique and alignment.

Friday 10.30 - 12.00 Lyddington Village Hall - Yoga Fundamentals, a beginners level class. Designed to break down poses and teach breathing practices, relaxation techniques and yogic philosophy. Great for those just starting their yoga journey!
